As an integral part of our every day life, it is hard to believe that humans once lived without math. Math is a key part of our daily lives. Without math, cars, televisions, technology, computers, coding languages, airplanes, the Internet and many, many, many other things would not be a part of our lives. Thanks to men like Sir Isaac Newton, we have rocket ships. Thanks to Albert Einstein, we have the theory of general relativity, which serves as a backbone for studies in physics and science to this day. Alan Turing and his team helped develop the first computer. Math has long been the basis of all of humanity's technological advancements. The first ever traces of written mathematics date all the way back to 3000 BC in ancient Mesopotamia. Since then, we have drastically advanced mathematics. Some notable exmaples are cauculus, algebra, and geometry. Overall, mathematics has facilitated the advancement of humanity, and will continue to do so until humans go extinct.
